I found that the two displays of information are different fundamentally. They are focusing on different things so that conclusion makes sense. However I do think that they both deal with change and you can see that in some of the major words used in both. Obviously they are focusing on different types of change but if someone not familiar with US history were to look at these two displays and try to find a common connection between the two, they would see that we are a nation very focused on change. The Wordle and the N-gram both work to give a simplified view of a corpus and allow someone who may be less informed to draw a relevant conclusion.

How about some similarities though? For example in the notion of freedom? And the use of “government”?
